What people usually want to know first
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. The consultation and the quote are free.
What we will not do is give you a number over the phone for work nobody has looked at. A price that arrives before a site visit is a guess that gets corrected later, usually upward and usually after you have already chosen. We would rather spend an hour on site and give you a figure that holds.
Do you install, or only supply the material?
Both, with our own crews. That is the whole reason this company is set up the way it is.
Most tile companies sell you the box and leave you to find somebody to set it. The split is where jobs go wrong: a material problem and a workmanship problem look identical from the outside, and each trade can point at the other. One quote, one schedule, one company holding the outcome — and the person advising you in the showroom knows how a material behaves after five years on a Florida pool deck, because we laid the last one.
Will you work with my designer or builder?
Yes, and a good part of our work arrives that way.
Where there is already a designer we work to their specification and flag the things a drawing cannot see — a substrate that will not take the format, a layout that puts a cut tile where the eye lands, a lead time that will not meet the schedule. Where there is a builder we work to their programme and their sequence. Neither is a handover; somebody has to own the surface from specification through to the last piece of trim, and on our jobs that is us.
